Information
and Knowledge sharing:
Information
and Knowledge sharing is a key project of SDN. We are constantly
seeking and collecting useful information on various topics and putting most of this on our "Resource
Centre" web page so that people can have
access to them. On the ground we are also sharing
information and knowledge with local people and groups using
off-line tools such as CD-Rom libraries, printed documents etc.
Sustainable
Agriculture Project:
SDN in
collaboration with some local partners is also exploring
sustainable agricultural projects that will link farmers and
agribusinesses in Akwa Ibom State with training resources,
markets, technology and micro credit sources.
OTHER
PROJECTS IN THE MAKING
We have a number of other projects in the
pipeline that we are seeking to explore.
Information
and Communications Centres:
We are
exploring with potential local and international partners to set
up school based and community based computer centres in Akwa
Ibom State.
Local
Arts & Crafts Development and Market linking:
We are
investigating the possibility of linking local Nigerian Artisans
with international Markets.
