Aid Harmonization Report

Community secondary school students from Akwa Ibom State of Nigeria tell the world about the many uses of the Trees in and around their School Grounds.
They join schools from many other countries taking part in the Schoolnet Global's "Spirit of the Trees 2012" collaborative project.
They have had to overcome considerable difficulties in order to publish their amazing work and pictures online, as few schools in Nigeria have fast if any internet access. The students knowledge of the trees in their school compound and their uses are quite remarkable. Click here to learn the many uses of Nigerian trees such as oil palm trees, mango trees and orange trees.

Akwamfon Sustainable Agriculture and Community Education Initiative (ASACEI) is being executed by our sister organisation, Akwamfon Sustainable Community Association (ASCA), with funding from the "School for Rural Entrepreneurs" grant competition organised by Teach A Man To Fish (TAMTF).
